Craft Beer Themed Engagement Shoot

Last weekend, I had an opportunity to shoot their Engagement photo session. Typically, most engagement shoots are shot in scenic areas especially if you're in California. Beaches, untouched fields, and awesome spots (specially around the Bay Area). Well, for this one, it was even better. My friends are hardcore craft beer lovers (I swear they are some sort of Cicerone). So we also incorporated a brewery shoot at The Rare Barrel in Berkeley (Thank you guys for the exclusive opportunity!) and some places. Why do I keep on typing? I'll let the photos do the story telling.

Started with a Teaser photo a week before the shoot

Before we went to brewery, we started shooting at the academy of Science and Stow Lake. Here are some favorites.w

After the long shoot, we all deserved some hearty food. 

Cannot thank my friends, Don and Lianne for giving me the opportunity to capture their milestone moment and Alex and the crew at Rare Barrel for the exclusive beers and hospitality. OF COURSE, my 2nd shooter, my 2nd eye, and my helper, my GF.  Y'all are awesome!

Beerwalk at Santana Row

Beer, beer, and more beer. 

Nothing beats a festive day in Santana Row with a bunch of Craft beer lovers under the Bay Area heat. The guys at Beerwalk threw another successful event in partner with various breweries around the area (Yes, the craft beer movement is still strong, perhaps a lot bigger than the past years). We were so excited to see some new breweries showcased their tastings and learned about their craft selection. We should stop typing, we think the photos should let themselves tell you the story (It was also a reason for me to test out the new camera in action).

At one point, we were walking with backup (like the movie, The Hangover), Hercules, the Akita. FYI: He didn't drink it.

Nothing in this picture could tame a simple man.

We ended our Journey with Hermitage that night. We wish we hadn't drank that much (had to gym to sweat it out).
